REVIEWER GUIDELINES

The Tan Tao University Journal of Science (TJS) sincerely thanks you, esteemed professors, doctors, and scientists, for dedicating your time to review manuscripts. Your expertise is crucial in maintaining and elevating the academic standards of our journal.

TJS employs a Double-blind peer review process. In this process, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept strictly confidential by the Editorial Board to ensure the highest level of objectivity, transparency, and fairness in the evaluation.

For your convenience, TJS accepts reviews via both our Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and Email. Please follow the detailed process below:

Step 1: Respond to the Invitation

Upon receiving an invitation email from the Editorial Board, please review the manuscript title and abstract to ensure there is no conflict of interest. We kindly ask you to Accept or Decline the invitation as soon as possible (usually within 07 days):

Via OJS: Please visit tjs.ttu.edu.vn to register an account and log in. After you select the appropriate account role, we will assign you the reviewer role for the manuscript. From your dashboard, you can then select "Accept Review" or "Decline".
Via Email: Simply reply to the Editorial Board's email to confirm your acceptance or declination.

Step 2: Access the Manuscript and Review Form

Via OJS: Once you accept, you can download the full manuscript (anonymized) and the "Review Form" directly from your reviewer dashboard.
Via Email: Upon receiving your acceptance email, the Editorial Office will send you the full manuscript (anonymized) and the Review Form as attachments.

Step 3: Conduct and Submit Your Review

Please evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, methodology, scientific significance, and presentation. Record your comments on the Review Form and/or add annotations directly to the manuscript file.

You will be asked to make one of the following recommendations: Accept Submission, Revisions Required (Minor), Resubmit for Review (Major), or Decline Submission.

Via OJS: Fill out the online form or upload your completed Review Form and annotated manuscript. Select your "Recommendation" from the dropdown menu and click "Submit Review".
Via Email: Reply to the Editorial Office with your completed Review Form and any annotated files attached. Please explicitly state your final recommendation in the email.

Step 4: Reviewing Revisions (If applicable)

If a manuscript requires revisions, the Editorial Board may invite you to review the revised version along with the authors' "Response to Reviewers" (Round 2) to ensure all scientific concerns have been adequately addressed.

Confidentiality & Ethics:

Please treat the manuscript and its contents as highly confidential. Do not share or discuss the paper with third parties prior to publication. If you suspect any plagiarism or ethical misconduct, please notify the Editorial Board immediately.
